About Seikai

Seikai is about an Abh Princess and a Terran boy who adventures together in an era wherein war broke out between interstellar nations. Created by Morioka Hiroyuki, and is now one of the most popular series in Japan and one of the most respected anime internationally. Seikai have various titles in English and these are:

1. Seikai no Danshou (Lost Chapter of the Stars [aka Birth])
2. Seikai no Monshou (Crest of the Stars)
3. Seikai no Senki (Battleflag/Banner of the Stars) I, II, III

They also produced a number of anime versions based from the manga:

1. Seikai no Danshou (Lost Chapter of the Stars [aka Birth]) - an extra episode found in the DVD
2. Seikai no Monshou (Crest of the Stars) - TV Series 1
3. Seikai no Senki (Battleflag/Banner of the Stars) I - TV Series 2
4. Seikai no Senki (Battleflag/Banner of the Stars) II - TV Series 3
5. Seikai no Senki (Battleflag/Banner of the Stars) III - OVA 1

With two specials:

1. Seikai no Monshou - Special 1; a 90-minute version of Seikai no Monshou - TV series 1
2. Seikai no Senki - Special 2; a 90-minute version of Seikai no Senki I - TV series 2

Seikai has a very interesting story and world which will bring anyone into new thoughts, ideas, realities with endless possibilities. A must see not only for those who just want to watch an anime or read a good manga but also for those who are romantic, political, idealogists... everybody!
